Simon Cowell’s son crashes his interview (Video)

Simon Cowell’s son Eric, 20 months, is already stealing the show from his dad.

In an interview with Extra, Cowell was opening up about his new gig on America’s Got Talent until his son crashed the interview.

Eric then pretended to offer a piece of carrot to Extra’s Terri Seymour, but then gave the snack to his dad.

“That’s my boy!” Cowell said proudly.

Cowell continued to explain that he has a lot in common with his baby boy.

“When he just wants something, he’s like me. He says it over and over again,” he said.

Cowell also talked about becoming a judge on America’s Got Talent. "I was actually offered this five or six years ago, and at the time I couldn't do it. When this came about this time, I thought, 'Gotta do it,’” he said.

When asked to give advice to One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson about fatherhood, Cowell replied “If he’s anything like Eric, you’ll have a fantastic time.”

Cowell and his girlfriend, Lauren Silverman, welcomed Eric in February 2014.
