Jackass star, Steve-O, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail stemming from the dangerous stunt he pulled in California in August to protest SeaWorld.

As we previously reported, Steve-O was arrested for climbing a crane in Hollywood on Aug. 9.

The LA City Attorney’s office told NBC Los Angeles in addition to jail time, Steve-O will have to pay $14,000 to fire and police departments for having to report to the scene. He plead no contest to the charges on Wednesday.

He will also have to stay at least 100 yards away from the Hollywood Entertainment District, go on probation and cannot possess fireworks.

"Considering I've become a clean and sober, dog-rescuing vegan, I must say I'm ready to go to jail-- not just because it will bring so much attention to the plight of orcas in captivity, but because it's nice to let people know I haven't lost my edge,” he wrote on Instagram after the sentencing. “What can I say, I'm a jackass."
