Customers at a California Target were shocked earlier this week when they heard pornographic noises being blared over the store’s public address system.

KTVU reported that the graphic audio was played over the intercom on Wednesday morning while many shoppers were in the San Jose store. Without warning the store’s music went off and was replaced by moaning and other sexually-explicit sounds.

One woman, Gina Young, was shopping with her two small children and was in such disbelief over hearing the X-rated content that she recorded the sounds on her phone.

"I'm like, 'This is not happening. No one is going to believe this,'" Young said. "Everyone's just like, 'Oh my god!' And everyone just froze. Like, no one knew what to do, because it's like, 'Do I leave? I have groceries. I have my kids. I need diapers.'"

The pornographic audio had employees frantically trying to stop it by picking up and hanging up different store phones, but the sounds continued for several minutes.

This is not the first time that explicit audio has been played over the loud speakers at a Target store.  Three other stores in California experienced incidents with similar audio earlier this year.

Target said it is looking into how the PA system was accessed and who may have done it.
