Taylor Swift has filed a countersuit against radio host, David Mueller, who was fired for allegedly groping the pop star backstage at a photo session.
Mueller worked for country music station KYGO and the incident occurred backstage at Denver's Pepsi Center after one of Swift's concerts. He doesn’t deny it happened, but he is placing blame on one of his former co-workers. However, Swift isn’t buying it.
"Mueller's newfound claim that he is the 'wrong guy' and, therefore, his termination from KYGO was unjustified, is specious," the “Wildest Dreams” singer’s lawyer said in the countersuit, AP reports. "Ms. Swift knows exactly who committed the assault. It was Mueller."
Back in September, Mueller sued Swift, claiming she got him fired for something he didn’t do. His lawyer wrote in his lawsuit, “Mueller steadfastly maintains that no inappropriate contact of any kind occurred between him and Ms. Swift.”
If Swift wins her countersuit, she promises to donate the money to groups that advocate to protect women from similar assault situations.
