In a new interview Yoko Ono opens up about her late husband John Lennon and talked about everything from his sexuality to his killer.

Lennon’s widow told the Daily Beast that she had spoken with him about bisexuality.

“John and I had a big talk about it, saying, basically, all of us must be bisexual," the 82-year-old recalled. "And we were sort of in a situation of thinking that we’re not [bisexual] because of society. So we are hiding the other side of ourselves, which is less acceptable. But I don’t have a strong sexual desire towards another woman.”

After Lennon’s death Ono said that he used to tell her that he liked her because she looked like a “bloke in drag.” However, while she believes he had a “desire” to sleep with other men, she feels that he was “too inhibited” to ever do so.

Lennon was gunned down by Mark Chapman in 1980 outside The Dakota apartment building.

When asked about the possibility of her husband’s murderer ever getting out Ono said, “One thing I think is that he did it once, he could do it again, to somebody else. It could be me, it could be [her and Lennon’s son] Sean, it could be anybody, so there is that concern.”
