Authorities in Boston have said that one person was killed and three others were wounded in a shooting near a bar outside Fenway Park.

MassLive reported that Jephthe Chery was fatally shot near Who’s on First, which is located at 19 Yawkey Way near the baseball stadium.

Police and witnesses said that after the shots were fired crowds of people started running everywhere and the shooter got away. Three other people were wounded and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The deceased worked as a conductor for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority. The commuter rail said in a statement that he was “beloved and respected by his friends and colleagues.” Today would have been his 30th birthday.

Boston officials are asking anyone with information on the shooter’s whereabouts or identity to contact police right away.

As for the Who’s on First bar, Boston.com noted that it has been the scene of violence in the past when two women were shot and injured there back in September. The establishment has also had issues with the Boston Licensing Board and was accused of serving alcohol to minors on a number of occasions.
