Adele is much more human than she might appear to be with that powerhouse voice, revealing her management team banned her from tweeting on her own because she often drunk tweeted.
During a Q&A portion of her Adele at the BBC special, which also featured her first live performance in over two years, she said she used to get herself in trouble when tweeting after having too much to drink.
Adele confirmed it when an audience member told her, “Rumor has it you're not allowed to access your own Twitter account.”
"That is true, yeah," she laughed, People reports. "I'm not a drinker anymore, but when Twitter first came out, I was drunk-tweeting and nearly put my foot in quite a few times.”
She added, “So my management decided that you have to go through two people, and then it has to be signed off by someone."
Adele did say that even though she needs to get them approved, they’re still her own writing.
“They're all my tweets,” she said. “No one writes my Tweets. They just post them for me.”
