Apple announced Thursday that Beats Music will be no more by the end of the month.

In a statement posted on the Beats Music site, Apple said that the service will cease to exist on Nov. 30. Subscriptions will be ended, although all preferences and picks can be moved to Apple Music.

It was redundant for Apple to keep Beats Music alive after the launch of Apple Music, since both services offered the same thing. Apple also has the global radio station Beats 1 available at Apple Music.

Apple bought Beats Music and Beats Electronics for $3 billion in May 2014. At first, it looked like Apple would re-launch Beats Music, but instead opted to brand its streaming service Apple Music.

Apple Music costs $10 a month for a subscription. According to The Verge, Apple said in October that it has 15 million subscribers already, with 6.5 million of them already finished with their three-month trial.
