The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 might have had a lackluster opening weekend, but the film made up for that during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The film easily beat newcomers Creed and The Good Dinosaur, which both still did well.

Mockingjay 2 opened to $101 million. Between Wednesday and Sunday, the film made an estimated $75.8 million ($51.6 million over from Friday to Sunday), notes The Hollywood Reporter. That is below Mockingjay 1’s $82.7 million Thanksgiving holiday in 2014, but the film is still doing well. It’s hard to call a movie that has grossed $198.3 million over just 10 days a disappointment.

Overseas, Mockingjay 2 made $62 million this weekend. That brings its worldwide total to $440.7 million.

The Good Dinosaur, which opened on Wednesday, opened on the lower end of Pixar’s spectrum with just $55.6 million ($39.2 million from Friday to Sunday). Box Office Mojo notes that this is the fourth biggest Thanksgiving debut ever, but it is also the lowest Pixar opening since Toy Story in 1995. The film did earn an “A” CinemaScore grade and there aren’t any other new family films hitting theaters for another few weeks, so the film should be well off.

Ryan Coogler’s Creed reinvigorated the left-for-dead Rocky franchise by opening in a strong third place with $42.6 million ($30.1 million from Friday to Sunday). The film stars Michael B. Jordan as the son of Apollo Creed and Sylvester Stallone returned to play an older Rocky Balboa. The film earned sterling reviews and an “A” CinemaScore grade.

Spectre came in fourth with $12.8 million.

There was one bomb over the weekend. 20th Century Fox’s Victor Frankenstein failed to get any audience. The film grossed just $3.4 million since its Wednesday opening. At least Fox saw The Martian make $50 million in China.

On the limited side, Spotlight grossed $4.49 million and Brooklyn added $3.8 million. The Danish Girl took in $185,000 from four theaters and Carol added $203,000 from four theaters.
