David Beckham has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for the magazine’s 30th anniversary of the tradition.
The dad of four; Brooklyn, 16, Romeo, 12, Cruz, 10, and Harper, 4, admitted his kids laughed at the honor when he told them about it.
"It's a huge honor and I'm very pleased to accept,” he told People, but he admitted he doesn’t see himself that way.
"I never feel that I'm an attractive, sexy person,” he said. “I mean I like to wear nice clothes and nice suits and look and feel good, but I don't ever think of myself that way."
Beckham, who’s been a sex symbol for decades now, follows up last year’s Sexiest Man Alive, Chris Hemsworth.
Jimmy Kimmel revealed Beckham as this year’s honoree on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night before making his studio audience try to guess who it is.
