The FBI is investigating an ISIS threat reported Saturday for WWE Survivor Series in Atlanta on Sunday.
The FBI issued a statement to Channel 2 News in Atlanta saying, "The FBI is aware of reports of an alleged threat that includes an Atlanta, Georgia venue and event." They continued by saying they would look at any threats in a serious manner. However, they also noted they did not "have specific or credible information of an attack at this time."
In their statement, they also assured they would "continue to work closely with our law enforcement and private sector partners to keep our community safe."
While the FBI said they would look into the threat and take it seriously, the WWE issued a statement that the show will go on. "WWE Survivor Series is currently scheduled as planned while we investigate the matter with federal, state and local authorities," the organization said.
According to the International Business Times, a group within the hacktivist group Anonymous released a statement claiming to have uncovered the information but Anonymous later tweeted out via their official page "We did not spread any rumors about possible future ISIS attacks, and frankly, we do not know where the rumors come from."
Triple H, former wrestler and current EVP of Talent, Live Events, and Creative for WWE, issued a statement of his own on Twitter and Facebook to debunk the threat claims.
