The Foo Fighters have done it again, releasing a surprise EP Saint Cecelia last night dedicated to the victims of the Paris attacks on November 13.

The heavy-hitting, impromptu-recorded album features five new tracks recorded at Austin’s Hotel Saint Cecilia, available for immediate download on their website.

In an open letter to the press, frontman Dave Grohl said that the EP has “taken on an entirely different tone” following the attacks on Paris not more than two weeks ago, forcing the band to cancel what was left of their European tour.

In a statement, iTunes says that the EP “captures nearly forgotten moments from the band’s 20-year odyssey—a brilliant patchwork of pieced-together riffs and song fragments. The road-tested band blasts through the set of scrappy guitar-driven rockers with high-volume fury. Polished? No way. But the rowdy performances and rough edges make Saint Cecelia pack a visceral punch.”

Saint Cecilia EP tracklist includes:

Saint Cecilia
Sean
Savior Breath
Iron Rooster
The Neverending Sigh
