Everyone remembers when Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin announced they were “consciously uncoupling.” Especially Paltrow.

The actress opened up about her split with the Coldplay front man and even joked about their divorce announcement at various events over the past couple days.

"When I was announcing my husband and I were separating and we were trying to follow this specific way of doing it and the philosophy is conscious uncoupling and we like broke the f—king internet,” Paltrow said at a GOOP Q & A in New York on Nov. 10, according to US Weekly.

Paltrow and Martin announced the end of their 10-year marriage on Paltrow’s website GOOP in March 2014. They have two children together, Apple, 10 and Moses, 9.

Paltrow also talked about her split at Nicole Riche’s PealxChange event, according to the Huffington Post.

"I had very high hopes for what my life would be like," she said. "I absolutely assumed that I would be in a long, successful marriage -- which is happy and sad and hard, and all that.”

Paltrow is currently dating Glee producer Brad Falchuk, while Martin has been linked to Jennifer Lawrence and Annabelle Wallis.
