Japan is putting the U.S. to shame when it comes to Chicken McNuggets at McDonald’s, offering a limited time 48-piece deal.
The offer will be available in Niigata Prefecture in conjunction with promoting pop group NGT48, which has up to 48 members at a given time.
Yahoo Japan reports the deal will start on Dec. 1 and will cost hungry customers 1,800 yen, or $14.69.
The most Chicken McNuggets we can order here in the U.S. is a 40-piece, which is still a huge amount. However, for Japan, the 48-piece is a huge jump from their largest order of a 15-piece Chicken McNugget.
According to Kotaku, the 48-piece Chicken McNugget isn’t the biggest bucket McDonald’s has offered when it comes to nuggets. For a limited time during the Super Bowl one year, they sold a 50-piece bucket of chicken.
