Jason Aldean dressed as Lil Wayne for Halloween this year, complete with blackface and a wig full of dreadlocks.
His rep has confirmed he dressed as the “I Am Not a Human Being” rapper, but offered no apology and didn’t mention the offensive makeup. The photo was first posted by NashvilleGab and it took a week for the country singer’s rep to confirm it’s him in the photo.
His publicist simply told The Guardian he “dressed as rapper Lil Wayne” for Halloween.
It’s unclear who his wife, Brittany Kerr, dressed up as but she’s also in the photo wearing a red bandana and braids. The couple posed with a group of friends, who were all also dressed up for Halloween.
Aldean is one of the artists signed to Jay Z's Tidal streaming service.
