Jason Priestley suffered a fall while on set Monday and was rushed to the hospital where he was diagnosed with a concussion.
FoxNews.com reported that the actor was thrown off of a horse while filming his upcoming Canadian TV show The Code. He was immediately rushed to the hospital and kept overnight due to his history of concussions. After being checked out by a neurologist it was deemed he suffered another one.
Priestley took to social media and confirmed the news to his fans.
"Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words... It's true, I did get thrown off a horse on set... I got my bell rung pretty good," he tweeted. "Because I have a history of concussions, they took me to see a neurologist for an assessment. He advised I take a few days off as I had suffered a concussion... But I am definitely on the mend and looking forward to getting back to work with all the wonderful people on The Code."
TMZ noted that the 46-year-old Priestley suffered another concussion at the Kentucky Speedway in 2002. He also fractured his vertebra in the racing accident.
