Jennifer Lawrence reflected on her time as the girl on fire in The Hunger Games series during a handprint ceremony at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood on Friday.

“I’m very grateful,” Lawrence said about the opportunity to play Katniss Everdeen, reports Us Weekly. “I feel the impact of being part of such a huge movie that has meant so much for many people.”

Lawrence continued to talk how important Katniss is to women.

“This character is overwhelmingly supportive of women, obviously, and this iconic [role], I don’t feel a personal impact, I think if you ever become aware of that it takes away from that a little bit, it’s the movie, and the characters… it’s kind of like your avatar self,” the Oscar winner said.

Lawrence also reflected on wrapping the series after four movies.

“I feel that I had two endings with Katniss,” she said. “One when we wrapped the film in Berlin and that was kind of saying goodbye to the movie and then I had a moment with my nephews about a year later.”

Lawrence explained that her nephews played her children in a scene.

“It was an amazing closure to this character that I’ve loved for so many years to have my family there, my blood family, I got to say goodbye to both,” Lawrence added.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2, the final film in the series, hits theaters on Nov. 20.
