Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald welcome their first child, a baby boy

Jessa Seewald and her husband, Ben Seewald, have officially become first-time parents. Jessa has given birth to their first child, a baby boy.

Jessa’s sister-in-law, Jessica Seewald, broke the news on her Instagram page with a photo of a simple hand-written post it that reads “I’m an auntie!”

On the official Duggar family Facebook page, a message reads, “So excited!!!!! Ben and Jessa have had their sweet new baby! A beautiful baby BOY!!!!! More details soon. Mom and baby are both doing great! Thanks for all your prayer! Congrats Ben and Jessa, we love you!”

Jessa announced she was pregnant with her first child in April, which is Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s sixth grandchild. She has been keeping fans updated on her pregnancy on Instagram, posting plenty of baby bump photos.

The couple’s wedding anniversary was Nov. 1, and they celebrated at a marriage retreat with Jessa’s parents.

Jessa and her husband will soon appear on a 19 Kids and Counting spin-off special with her sister, Jill Dillard and her husband Derick Dillard, where they will be seen preparing for their son's birth. People has released the first photo of the baby but the new parents aren't ready to share the name just yet.
