Uncle Jesse plans to be more than just an uncle one day.
Actor John Stamos talked to People about wanting to be a dad, and how he is doing after his DUI and headline-making year.
“When the time is right, it’ll happen,” Stamos said about having kids of his own. “This year has been about clearing my head, being healthy and getting my career on track. I think everything will fall into place as long as I’m good, solid and spiritual.”
Stamos was arrested for a DUI in June, and entered rehab a month later.
“I’m always in such a turbulent up and down,” he added. “So you are looking for consistency.” Stamos also revealed he mediates and prays everyday.
“I studied transcendental meditation when I joined the Beach Boys and it’s helped a lot since the work schedule has been so hectic," Stamos explained.
Stamos, who is currently starring on ABC’s comedy Grandfathered, is spending time with the twins who play his granddaughter, Emelia and Layla Golfieri, on and off screen.
“We went to Disneyland last week, me, [Josh Peck] and we took the twins,” Stamos shared.
