Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie took part in Lip Sync Battle, in which both actors channeled Janet Jackson and MC Hammer, respectively.
The Guardian reported Gordon-Levitt slayed the competion, complete with a ponytail and the attitude that we see from Jackson herself.
Many other guests have done parodies of videos, including Diana Ross’ daughter Tracee Ellis-Ross and a dance featuring the evolution of hip-hop with Jimmy Fallon and Will Smith.
Mackie’s song was “2 Legit 2 Quit” and his competitor was seen the side of the stage jamming to the music. They appeared on the show to promote their film The Night Before.
Mackie and actor LL Cool J were left with their jaws left open after seeing the routine from Gordon-Levitt.
The Night Before also stars Seth Rogen alongside Mackie and Gordon-Levitt. They star as three friends who want to break their Christmas Eve tradition of getting crazy as they become adults, and decide to have one final crazy night at the Nutcracka Bar.
