Tarek El Moussa, one of the stars of Flip or Flop spoke about battling Thyroid Cancer.
El Moussa, 34, is in remission, but he spoke to People about the effects of going through cancer. He said, “I feel good, but I don’t have the energy I used to have.”
The diagnosis came when a viewer watched an episode of El Moussa’s hit show on the HGTV network, which he stars in with his wife Christina. The fan noticed that El Moussa had a lump on his neck and sent an email to the producers with her concerns.
After a biopsy was done, it showed he did have cancer and it had spread to his lymph nodes. Going through this the past three years, El Moussa called it a “pretty big challenge.”
El Moussa and his wife have a daughter, Taylor, and recently welcomed a son, Brayden, into their family.
In speaking about life after dealing with cancer, El Moussa said after receiving treatment, including thyroid radioactive iodine therapy, he has “slowed down quite a bit.”
