Adele is getting ready to have another massive hit album on her hands. 25 has only been on sale for one day but it's already on track to break *NSYNC's record album sales in the U.S., when they sold 2.42 million in one week.

Early indications are showing that 25 could sell at least 2.5 million copies in its first week, according to Billboard. iTunes is reporting that they have had already sold more than 900,000 copies during the first day of release. 25 features the break out hit, "Hello," which also set records upon release both on the charts and on YouTube.

Tracking for sales take place from Friday through Thursday of each week, the first week of 25 sales will be formally counted and concluded on Nov. 26. Adele’s album is not going be available on most streaming services, including Spotify. Instead, physical copies of the album are being pushed in stores. As previously reported, Adele herself was personally involved in the decision to keep 25 off of streaming services.

Billboard reported that *NSYNC's No String Attached set the record for first week of sales back in March of 2000.
