It seems that every Halloween at least one celebrity is left apologizing for wearing an offensive costume.
Yahoo Celebrity noted that actor Harry Hamlin is the latest who for some reason thought it would be a good idea to wear a T-shirt with a Swastika on it as part of his Sid Vicious getup. Well it wasn’t and now he and his wife Lisa Rinna are apologizing for the anti-Semitic attire.
The two attended George Clooney’s Halloween party over the weekend and after pictures were snapped, calls for an apology flooded social media.
Rinna took to Instagram and issued an apology on behalf of her and her husband.
"If I hurt you we were being authentic to the characters of Sid and Nancy for our Halloween costumes. It hurt and angered many of you and we are deeply sorry for that. That was never our intention. We did not mean to offend. With love, Lisa and Harry," she wrote.
Rinna’s reality TV costar, Kyle Richards, left a picture of Hamlin in costume on her Instagram, in that picture though his jacket is zipped and the Swastika is not visible.
