Most of the casting for The Lego Batman Movie has made some sense, but this one doesn’t seem possible. Mariah Carey is going to voice Commissioner Gordon.

The unexpected news was reported by Deadline and also tweeted by TheWrap. It’s not clear if she will sing, but it would be a bit strange to cast her if she doesn’t. This will probably be some kind of joke in the movie, where Gordon has a surprising voice.

Last week, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Ralph Fiennes will voice Alfred Pennyworth.

The rest of the cast includes Rosario Dawson as Batgirl, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker and Michael Cera as Robin. Will Arnett will return to voice Batman after doing so in The LEGO Movie.

LEGO Batman is a LEGO Movie spinoff and was written by Seth Grahame-Smith. Chris McKay, who was an animation supervisor on The LEGO Movie, is directing, with Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller producing.

LEGO Batman hits theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.

UPDATE: The Hollywood Reporter claims that Carey isn't voicing Commissioner Gordon.
