She’s just being Miley.
Miley Cyrus was honored for her work in the LGBT community at the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s 46th Anniversary Gala on Nov. 7 and gave a memorable acceptance speech, according to US Weekly. The singer started off her speech licking a white piano that was on stage.
“I really have to pee, so I’m going to make this kind of quick,” she said after her unclear moment with the piano.
Cyrus, who was given the Vanguard Award, spoke about what the LGBT Center means to her.
“I was so moved when I first heard someone sitting beside me say, ‘Some days I wake up and I’m the masculine version of myself and some days I wake up and I’m the feminine version of myself,’” she said. “And that’s totally okay. And the LGBT Center had the key to the lock on my cage and they set me free.”
Cyrus, who is an LGBT advocate through her charity Happy Hippie, has dated both men and women including Liam Hemsworth, Patrick Schwarzenegger and Stella Maxwell.
