Miranda Lambert is getting by with a little help from country music.

Lambert won Female Vocalist of the Year at the 2015 Country Music Association Awards and used her acceptance speech as a way to comment on her rocky split from Blake Shelton.

"Man, I appreciate it. I needed a bright spot this year, so thank you,” Lambert said.

Lambert’s win came on the same day it was confirmed her ex-husband was dating Gwen Stefani. Lambert and Shelton split after four years of marriage over the summer.

Hosts Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood poked fun at country’s former power couple in their opening monologue.

“Of course, we can’t ignore the breakup that really rocked our world. The one that’s on everybody’s mind,” Underwood said. “Two people in this very room whom we all know and love… Splitsville.”

While the camera showed Kermit and Miss Piggy, Paisley made it clear the pair was talking about Shelton and Lambert when he added, “In a completely different topic of no relation… Howdy, Blake!”

While Stefani was not at the CMAs, she did fly to Nashville with Shelton on Nov. 3.
