NASA has made one little boy’s dreams come true, who was featured on Humans of New York - a social media account that features stories straight from New Yorkers themselves.
The boy appeared in a post on the account alongside his father, who is a journalist. He expressed his desire to follow in his dad’s footsteps and said he would want to interview the Director of NASA.
“My dad goes all over the world and learns about the news,” he said. “One time he met a king. I want to be a reporter too. If I was a reporter right now, I’d probably write a story about if NASA was going to launch a new rocket into space. I’d start by going to the Director of NASA. Then I’d ask him about his rockets. And if any of them were going to space.”

NASA has since responded to the post, which likely made the boy in the photo feel as if he successfully interviewed the organization.
“We *are* going to launch a new rocket into space!” NASA’s Facebook page posted. “We're developing NASA's Space Launch System to be the world's most powerful rocket and launch NASA’s Orion Spacecraft into deep space, first to lunar orbits then eventually farther on the journey to Mars.”
There have been almost 2,000 responses to NASA’s post, marveling at how amazing it is that they responded to this curious little boy and thanking them for doing so.
