One of the strangest moments in rock history came when Ozzy Osbourne was arrested in 1982 for urinating at a monument near the Alamo in San Antonio. Thirty-three years later, he was finally allowed to come back to the city to film a History Channel documentary his son Jack is making.

“I think [Ozzy] was a little overwhelmed,” Stephen L. Hardin, who was Ozzy and Jack’s tour guide, told The San Antonio Express-News. “The plan was for them to just fly in under the radar … for Jack and Ozzy to be like regular tourists. … And the producers swore me to secrecy because we didn't want a mob scene.”

But there was a mob scene, as fans followed Ozzy and took pictures while he returned to the scene of his 1982 crime, notes Rolling Stone.

Ultimate Classic Rock notes that Ozzy was pardoned 10 years after the arrest when he donated $10,000 to the group that maintains the Alamo. However, it wasn’t until Thursday that he made it to the popular tourist attraction.

The visit will air during an episode of Jack’s upcoming History Channel series.
