In Pat Houston’s first interview since Bobbi Kristina Brown’s passing, she revealed Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s only daughter was headed to rehab before she was found unresponsive in her home back in January.
Houston talked to her for the last time a few days before she was found face down in her bathtub and she agreed to speak to her about the possibility of going to rehab, although Brown was “adamant” with everyone else about not going.
"I decided she was going to rehab because that's where we had called to set up for her to go," Houston told People.
Houston added about getting the phone call that her niece was unresponsive. “I got the call and was told to go to the hospital," she said. "I can't even begin to tell you how I was feeling and what I was feeling and still feeling. I didn't know, I didn't know about the hard drugs, the cocaine."
In a deposition for an unrelated case, Brown’s friend and former roommate, Danyela Bradley, testified Brown had smoked crack cocaine “often” and did heroin as well.
Brown died in July after six months of being in a coma.
