NBC will air three consecutive new episodes of Saturday Night Live in December and is bringing out big stars for each show.
The Dec. 5 episode will feature Ryan Gosling making his SNL debut. The actor’s appearance will come before the release of The Big Short, which hits theaters on Dec. 23. Gosling’s musical guest will by Leon Bridges, who recently released his hit album Coming Home.
Chris Hemsworth will be back for a second shot at hosting SNL on Dec. 12, the day after Ron Howard’s In The Heart Of The Sea opens. Chance The Rapper, who released his single “Angles,” will perform.
The final episode of 2015 will star former SNL castmembers Tina Fey and Amy Poehler as co-hosts on Dec. 19. On Dec. 18, their film Sisters hits theaters.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will perform on Dec. 19 to mark the Dec. 4 release of his box set dedicated to his 1980 album The River.
This weekend, Matthew McConaughey is hosting, with Adele set to perform.
