For the second year in a row rapper Snoop Dogg delivered turkeys to families in need in the city of Inglewood.

Last year he delivered over 800, but this year he outdid himself delivering 1,500.

The rap icon was joined by Inglewood Mayor James Butts along with other city officials for the giveaway on Thursday, NBC Los Angeles reported. "Snoop Dogg took pictures with over 800 people at the event. We had a tented area for seniors to sit in, and the first thing he did was go over to take pictures with everyone there," Butts said of Snoop Dogg.

Snoop Dogg was looking for ways to get involved and give back to the community when he asked Butts last year what he could do to help. The turkey giveaway was Butts suggestion which the rapper has taken to heart.

Prior to the turkey giveaway earlier this week, Snoop Dogg spoke out about Billboard's recently released 10 Greatest Rappers of All Time List. Snoop Dogg failed to make the list but seemed more upset that Tupac was not included.  He shared a picture of the list on Instagram with the caption, "This is so disrespectful. !! Whoever did this list need a swift kick in the Ass. No. Tupac. Come on cuz. Jus my opinion."
