While last month’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer was billed as the last one we will see before the movie opens, but Disney in Japan had other ideas. Japan got a really cool new trailer today, which includes plenty of footage that we haven’t seen before.
The trailer includes a lot of action on Jakku, showing Rey (Daisy Ridley) meeting up with BB-8 and Finn (John Boyega). However, the two don’t find out each other's names until they meet up with Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) on the Millennium Falcon.
Other footage shows Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) in action. There’s also a shot of Kylo Ren nearly slicing Rey’s head off on a jungle planet. The trailer also features more dialogue we haven’t heard yet.
At this rate, if we put together all the trailers from around the world, we might be able to see the whole movie.
The Force Awakens opens on Dec. 18. You can check out our breakdown of the last U.S. trailer here.
