Target is set to close several stores in the U.S. by early next year due to falling profits.

CNN noted that the company announced Wednesday that it would close 13 stores by January.

“The decision to close a Target store is not made lightly,” a spokesperson for the Minneapolis-based company said in a statement. “We typically decide to close a store after careful consideration of the long-term financial performance of a particular location.”

Employees currently working at the stores set to shut will have the option of transferring to another location.

The announcement comes 11 months after Target closed all 133 stores in Canada.

The 13 stores closing stateside by Jan. 30 are as follows:

  • Austin North East in Austin, TX
  • Suncoast Pasco County in Odessa, FL
  • Casa Grande, AZ
  • Victorville, CA
  • East Flint in Flint, MI
  • Columbus Southwest in Columbus, OH
  • Springfield, OH
  • Northridge in Milwaukee, WI
  • Superior, WI
  • New Ulm, MN
  • Ottumwa, IA
  • Anderson, IN
  • Dixie Highway in Louisville, KY
