Tom Hanks gave an update on the production of Pixar’s fourth Toy Story movie during an appearance on U.K. television.
The two-time Oscar winner and star of Bridge of Spies told TV host Graham Norton that he is already recording dialog for Toy Story 4. The new film be released on June 15, 2018, which is a year later than initially planned.
Hanks also told this adorable story about how children never recognize that he’s the voice of Woody until he tells them to close their eyes. “And then I say, ‘We’ve got to get back to Andy’s room right away guys!’” And then they recognize him. He also explained why recording Woody’s voice is a work-out on his diaphragm.
Back in March, it was revealed that Toy Story 4 won’t be a direct follow-up to Toy Story 3 and it’s been said that it will be about a love story between Woody and Bo Peep. Patricia Arquette is in talks for a role in the film.
