Authorities have said that a woman who was in charge of caring for the late Bobbi Kristina Brown was not a nurse and was actually posing as a healthcare worker.

According to a police report obtained by the Associated Press on Tuesday, Taiwo Sobamowo, who cared for Brown during her last days at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia, was impersonating a nurse. Sobamowo is now facing a slew of charges including identity fraud and nursing without a license.

The case is still being investigated and so far nothing in the report offers any information about how or if Brown’s care was affected by Sobamowo.

"We had no reason to believe that she was anything other than a good nurse with proper credentials," said Homestead Hospice CEO Mallie Sharafat. "As soon as the credentialing discrepancy was discovered by one of our employees, we immediately took action and notified the appropriate authorities."

As we previously reported, Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub last January and was in a coma for several months. She died last July. She was the only daughter of the Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston.
