After years of stops and starts, Zoolander 2 is finally coming to fruition. Derek Zoolander is back and he’s on a mission to find out why the really, really ridiculously good-looking are being killed.
In Zoolander 2, Derek (Ben Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson) are recruited by an Interpol agent (Penelope Cruz) to help solve a murder mystery. All of the world’s best-looking people, including Justin Bieber, are being killed. Just before they die, they are caught taking selfies while trying to mimic the Blue Steel look.
There’s also plenty of celebrity cameos, including a very strange looking Benedict Cumberbatch. Kristen Wiig is playing a new villain, while Will Ferrell is back to play the evil, latte-throwing Mugatu.
Like the original 2001 film, Zoolander 2 was directed by Ben Stiller. Justin Theroux wrote the screenplay.
Zoolander 2 opens on Feb. 12.
