Krampus, the horror comedy from Universal and Legendary, did well on Thursday night, but is not going to beat The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 at the box office this weekend.

The new film, which stars Adam Scott and Toni Collette, earned $637,000 from Thursday night screenings, notes Deadline. It is expected to finish the weekend with around $13 million, which should put it in fourth place in its first weekend.

Mockingjay 2 held on strong in its second weekend last week and will earn a third week at the top. The final Hunger Games movie, which stars Jennifer Lawrence, has already earned $208.5 million domestically, and will likely earn just north of $20 million.

The No. 2 slot will likely be held by The Good Dinosaur, which opened to $55.6 million over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. It will probably hold on well, coming in very close behind - or even ahead of - Mockingjay 2.

Creed is also expected to do well again, with all the good press surrounding the film. Sylvester Stallone was named the National Board of Review’s best supporting actor this week for playing Rocky Balboa again.

There are no other new wide releases this week. The Letters, a biopic of Mother Teresa, is opening in just under 1,000 theaters, so that might be in the mix, unless its awful reviews really hurt it.
