When Marvel releases a trailer, it's always a big deal for any hardcore fan, but when the trailer for Captain America: Civil War came out, it broke records.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the trailer hit 61 million views in the first 24 hours of its release, breaking the record for Marvel trailers. The previous record was held by The Avengers: Age of Ultron with 34 million.

It is nowhere near the all-time record of 112 million views, but that is because of the first Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer.

Variety reports that the trailer teased the friction between Robert Downey Jr, who plays Iron Man, and Captain America, played by Chris Evans. The footage also gave audiences a look at Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman, Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner, and Don Cheadle’s War Machine.

The film should be action packed and is one of Marvel's most anticipated films ever. The movie is set to be released on May 6, 2016.
