Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, Wiz Khalifa join One Direction for ‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’

ABC named four new performers for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2016 this morning. Demi Lovato, Luke Bryan, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth have joined One Direction for the show.

Bryan has been enlisted to perform a medley of his country hits, while Lovato will since “Confident” and “Cool For The Summer” to help New Yorkers stay warm. Khalifa and Puth will sing their hit “See You Again” from the Furious 7 soundtrack. One Direction was previously announced as a main act and will perform at the Billboard Hollywood Party in Los Angeles.

Rockin’ Eve will run over five hours with 38 musical performances, running from 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 31 to 2:13 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1.

Seacrest will host the show from New York City, while Jenny McCarthy will be embedded with the crowd. Fergie will host from the Billboard Hollywood Party.

The show is produced by Dick Clark Productions. Secrest has been hosting since 2006.
