One of the biggest bands of the ‘80s and ‘90s is scheduled to perform at this year’s Coachella and could possibly tour together again, according to sources.
Billboard reported that Gun N’ Roses, with its founding members Axl Rose and Slash, will be headlining the Coachella Music & Arts Festival in April and multiple sources say they are also negotiating a North American tour.
If these reports are true, then GNR fans can jump for joy as this would be the first time Rose and Slash would perform on stage together since 1993.
The band would play at 25 arenas including the new Las Vegas Arena which is scheduled to open in early April. Rumors of a tour gained even more legs and traction after cryptic updates were put up on the group’s website and announced during screenings for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
When the band was together they produced a multitude of hits for an entire generation including “Sweet Child O’ Mine,” “Welcome to the Jungle” and “November Rain.”
