Former Mad Men lead Jon Hamm has just found his next film role: an indie drama with Zachary Quinto.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hamm has been cast in Aardvark, an upcoming drama and the directorial debut of Brian Shoaf.
The film revolves around a mentally ill man (Quinto) who suffers from hallucinations and is unsure if his new soulmate is real. He begins to see a therapist (Jenny Slate), who soon falls in love with the man's famous brother (Hamm).
Hamm has already lined up a series of impressive film roles post-Mad Men. This past year, he voiced a character in Minions and he recently joined Edgar Wright's Baby Driver as the main villain. He'll be starring alongside Ansel Elgort and Lily James.
Hamm is also on board for the political action thriller High Wire Act and the Zach Galifianakis comedy Keeping Up with the Joneses.
Aardvark is being produced by Quinto's production company Before the Door Pictures. It's currently shooting in New York, but no release date has been set.
