Want to learn how to act from Dustin Hoffman and Kevin Spacey? Hoping to learn how to sing from Usher and Christina Aguilera, but can’t make The Voice? Thankfully, there’s an online school offering classes from all these A-listers for just $90 each.
The classes are offered by a new online school called MasterClass, which launched in May. The first class was Hoffman’s, which featured five hours of video lessons from the Rain Man star. Serena Williams’ class on tennis and James Patterson’s class on writing were also part of the first wave.
In September, MasterClass announced Aguilera’s class on singing. Usher’s class on performance - which includes 16 video lessons from the singer - just started.
On Wednesday, MasterClass announced a class with Spacey, who is also a two-time Oscar winner, just like Hoffman. You can already pre-order the class, which will include over five hours of lessons. Spacey will also provide a 40-page workbook and will even personally critique some some student work. There is also no time limit on the classes, so you can take them on your own time.
The Hollywood Reporter notes that Spacey’s class will be directed by Tucker Gates, who directs episodes of House of Cards. The class is expected to start in early 2016.
