LL Cool J must really enjoy hosting the Grammy Awards. The NCIS: Los Angeles star will host the Grammys for the fifth consecutive year in February.
CBS and the Recording Academy announced the pick this morning. He has hosted every ceremony since 2012, when the Recording Academy decided to bring back hosts.
“The performances and moments that take place on the Grammy stage are awesome in so many ways for the audience and artists alike,” Mr. Ladies Love Cool James said in a statement. “I'm honored once again to host Music's Biggest Night as we celebrate the talented music creators of today. It's going to be an incredible night and I'm excited to share this experience with the world.”
Rapper Kendrick Lamar earned the most nominations this year with 11. Taylor Swift and The Weeknd earned seven each. The nominees for album of the year are Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly, Swift’s 1989, Chris Stapleton’s Traveller, Alabama Shakes’ Sound & Color and The Weeknd’s Beauty Behind The Madness.
The 58th Annual Grammy Awards airs on Monday, Feb. 15 at 8 p.m. on CBS, live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
