A Russian man is taking the designers Fallout 4 to court, claiming they failed to warn him the role playing game would be so addicting.

According to RT, a 28-year-old man from Krasnoyarsk is suing Bethesda Softworks after becoming addicted to Fallout 4. He says he downloaded the game on his computer after seeing an advertisement and ended up going on a three week binge that cost him his job and his marriage.

“If I knew that this game could have become so addictive, I would have become a lot more wary of it," he said in a statement. "I would not have bought it, or I would have left it until I was on holiday or until the New Year holidays."

He is seeking 500,000 rubles ($7,000) as compensation for his emotional distress.

This is not the first time we've seen a lawsuit over video game addiction in recent years. In 2014, a California man sued Sony Online Entertainment, claiming his son had become addicted to video games and argued that warning labels should be added to these products.

The court dismissed the suit and upheld Sony's first amendment rights. A few years earlier, a man sued Ncsoft for making Lineage II too addicting. His case was dismissed with prejudice.
