Mariah Carey is recovering in New York after she was rushed to a hospital with a severe case of the flu on Wednesday.
A rep for the singer confirmed that she is “doing well now.”
"She had been feeling under the weather with the flu over the past few days and was fighting it to the best of her abilities," the rep said. "She is doing well now and will be performing as scheduled this weekend. She thanks her lambs for the continued support and well wishes."
Carey herself then took to Twitter to let her fans know that she was doing better and to thank all her lambs for their recovery wishes.
“Thank you #lambily for all the well wishes,” she tweeted. “I’m feeling much better now! Go and get your flu shots!”
The songstress is currently hooked up to IVs in order to get proper fluids and vitamins to keep her hydrated. She is scheduled to be released from the hospital at some point today.
