A brand new promotional image for X-Men: Apocalypse has given us a look at Archangel.

20th Century Fox unveiled the latest banner at Comic Con Experience in Brazil, and it shows off the character's massive wingspan.

Played by Ben Hardy in the upcoming film, this mutant first appeared all the way back in the first issue of X-Men in 1963. He's the heir to a multibillion-dollar company known as Worthington Industries and as you can see, he possesses a massive pair of wings which allow him to fly. Archangel has previously been depicted on screen by Ben Foster in X-Men: The Last Stand.

X-Men: Apocalypse will be directed by Bryan Singer (X-Men, X2, X-Men: Days of Future Past). It is expected to be the end of this new prequel trilogy featuring young versions of the classic Marvel characters. James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Michael Fassbender will reprise their roles, and they'll star alongside X-Men newcomers Oscar Isaac, Olivia Munn, Sophie Turner and Kodi Smit-McPhee. The trailer for the film will be attached to Star Wars: The Force Awakens, as if you needed any other reason to see it in theaters.

X-Men: Apocalypse hits theaters on May 27.
