Paramore has now revealed Davis’ departure on Facebook, but it seems this split was a bit more amicable. They also made it clear the band will continue on without Davis.
“Jeremy is no longer going to be in the band with us,” they wrote on Monday. “To be honest, this has been really painful. After taking time to consider how to move forward, we ultimately found that we really do believe Paramore can and should continue on. And so we will.”
Without the Farro brothers and under the trio of Williams, York and Davis, Paramore won their first Grammy with their song “Ain’t It Fun.” They also released a hit self-titled album.
“The Self-Titled era was one that we knew would be important for us but also one we’d eventually have to move on from,” they said in their statement.
