The production of Resident Evil: The Final Chapter is not going well.
According to IOL, Ricardo Cornelius, 34, was killed during the filming of the latest installment in the action franchise. Reports indicate that one of the movie's props, a U.S. Army issue Hummer, fell off a platform that was being manually rotated and struck Cornelius. He was placed on life support and died on Dec. 3.
The man's fiance of nine months says that although the company he was working for, All Access Crew, has compensated her, none of Cornelius's coworkers have been responsive to her questions about how this tragedy occurred.
“No one can tell me what happened, I need closure," she said. "His colleagues who I spoke to blocked me on WhatsApp. None of the bosses have even contacted me to tell me what happened."
This news comes shortly after we learned that stuntwoman Olivia Jackson, who was also working on Resident Evil: The Final Chapter, must have her arm amputated following an accident on set. She spent two weeks in a coma and suffered brain swelling, a crushed and degloved face, broken ribs, torn fingers, and five nerves torn from her spinal cord.
