Getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame around the time a new project hits theaters is always good publicity. But what do you do if you already have one? If you’re Ron Howard, you just get a second one.

On Thursday, Howard got a star for his contribution to film. He has already had a star for his work on television, which includes roles on The Andy Griffith Show and Happy Days, since 1981.

“Two stars are pretty remarkable ... I'm going to have double the foot traffic, twice as many people treading on my good name, but I think it's a great thing and I'm proud of that,” Howard said, reports Reuters.

Howard’s family, including his daughter, Jurassic World star Bryce Dallas Howard, were there. Michael Keaton, who starred in Howard’s Night Shift and The Paper, was also at the ceremony. Of course, Howard’s longtime producing partner Brian Grazer was there, too.

“The canvas (of a film) always comes first,” Grazer said, reports Variety. “I’ll say to him, ‘Don’t you have to live inside these characters?’ And he’ll say, ‘No, I’m a filmmaker. I make movies about stories.’”

Howard won an Oscar for directing the 2001 Best Picture winner A Beautiful Mind and has also directed Cocoon, Apollo 13, How The Grinch Stole Christmas and The Da Vinci Code. His new movie is In The Heart of the Sea with Chris Hemsworth. The film is now in theaters.
