While Adele has just said “Hello” to the music world again after a hiatus, Kesha is trying to say goodbye to Sony rather than make a return to the industry with the record label. In an effort to calm and keep the singer, Sony said she could be the next Adele.

TMZ reported that Kesha is legally trying to drop Sony and Dr. Luke, but in court documents the label said that her claims are baseless.

The singer said that her deal with the company is delaying and possibly ruining her comeback. She‘s also saying that due to the drawnout battle she is slipping further out of the public eye.

Sony, however, is disputing those claims and countered that artists like Adele and Justin Timberlake emerged better than ever in their comebacks and Kesha could do the same. The company also noted that Kesha is very much in the public eye thanks to her recent acting gigs in "Jane the Virgin" and "Jem and the Holograms."
